This project extends and enhances the existing kitchen and dining space, creating a more open and flexible environment suited to modern family living and entertaining. The proposals improve the functionality of the ground floor by integrating the existing pantry and utility areas, while strengthening the relationship between the home and the well-established south-facing garden.

The redesigned kitchen introduces a central island and breakfast bar, creating a more social and connected space for everyday family life and entertaining. Large bi-fold doors open directly onto the garden, providing a seamless transition between the internal living areas and the outdoor space beyond.

A key feature of the design is the vaulted ceiling, incorporating Velux rooflights that draw natural light into the heart of the home throughout the day. This creates a sense of openness and volume, transforming the existing kitchen and dining room into a bright, welcoming space with a stronger connection to its garden setting.
