This concept proposes a compact holiday let in south Manchester, designed to provide a charming and comfortable retreat for guests throughout the year. Positioned at the end of the garden with its own independent access, the proposal creates a private and self-contained space while making efficient use of the available site.

A series of carefully positioned rooflights introduce natural daylight from above, creating a bright and welcoming interior while maintaining privacy for both guests and neighbouring properties. The approach allows the building to feel open and connected without relying on large areas of external glazing.

A key feature of the design is the elevated mezzanine sleeping deck, which maximises the limited footprint while creating a generous double-height living space below. This arrangement introduces a sense of volume and character, transforming a compact building into an efficient and memorable guest accommodation.
